ALL-PARTY PARLIAMENTARY GROUP
ON EATING DISORDERS
In 2024, we took over the Secretariat for the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Eating Disorders. The focus of the group is to end the injustices of those affected by eating disorders and to ensure that every single person has access to the right treatment.
The Chair of the APPG is Wera Hobhouse MP, Co-Chair is Olivia Blake MP, and the Officers are Sian Berry MP and Danny Kruger MP.
We have over 20 MPs who are supporting this work officially as members.
People with eating disorders are being failed​
In January 2025 we concluded and published our report 'The Right to Health: People with Eating Disorders are Being Failed.'

We spoke to people with lived experience of all eating disorders, patients and their carers, clinicians including psychologists, psychiatrists and nurses, researchers and academics, and the Royal College of Psychiatrists. We combined this with FOI (Freedom of Information Requests to obtain an accurate picture of what is happening in eating disorders services on the ground.
